North West businessman Suliman Carrim and his two employees are appearing in the Musina Magistrates’ Court.
Carrim and his co-accused Musa Phiri and Zakes Ibrahim are facing charges of attempted theft of motor vehicles, fraud and uttering.
Phiri and Ibrahim were arrested at the Beitbridge Border Post in July after they allegedly attempted to transport two vehicles to Malawi using fraudulent bank documents.
Meanwhile, earlier this week, the Pretoria Magistrates’ Court granted Carrim R100 000 bail in his contempt of court case.
The court has found that the State failed to prove Carrim was a flight risk or likely to undermine the criminal justice system.
