Bafana Bafana forward Luther Singh continued to make his mark at AEL Limassol after opening the scoring in their 2-0 victory over Omonia Aradippou in the Cypriot top flight on Sunday.
Singh broke the deadlock in the 61st minute before Chinedu Geoffrey doubled AEL’s advantage two minutes later to seal their fifth win in six league matches.

The result lifted AEL to the top of the Cyprus League standings with 15 points from six matches, two points ahead of second-placed AEK Larnaca.
The goal was Singh’s second in the league this season, adding to the strike he scored in the 2-0 victory over Pafos on September 18. He has also registered an assist in the league campaign, taking his tally to three direct goal contributions.
The South African winger, who has established himself at the Cypriot club, was substituted in the 84th minute after helping his side secure another important victory.
Singh’s attacking output will be encouraging for AEL as they look to sustain their early-season momentum and remain at the summit of the standings.
