The D449 near Tshedza Ha-Mailula is temporarily closed following a motor vehicle collision involving three vehicles

The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety informs motorists that D449 near Tshedza Ha-Mailula is temporarily closed following a motor vehicle accident involving three vehicles.

Motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution and patience, as traffic is currently not moving in the affected area.

Law enforcement officials and emergency response teams are at the scene, working to manage the situation and attend to the incident.

Motorists are urged to follow the instructions and guidance of traffic officers at the scene and, where possible, use alternative routes until the road is reopened.

As alternative routes, motorists travelling to Tshedza, Tshikombani and Shanzha via Witvlag are advised to use the N1 and turn right at Willisport.

Motorists travelling to Makhado are advised to use the R523 until joining the N1 from Musina towards Makhado.
