Swallows show off stylish throwback shirts for fans

Moroka Swallows have brought a touch of nostalgia back for their supporters, with the club unveiling retro-inspired merchandise as the Dube Birds begin a new chapter. Check it out!
The Soweto outfit recently took to social media to showcase a collection of shirts created in collaboration with Ingwe Sportswear, celebrating the club’s heritage and identity.
The items are aimed at fans and supporters, offering the Swallows faithful a way to show their colours away from the football pitch.
The club announced the collection with the message, “The Birds are back. And the drip? Legendary”, adding that supporting the Dube Birds was about more than football.
The release comes as Moroka Swallows Sports Club looks to rebuild the famous name after the previous club’s PSL status was sold to Marumo Gallants in 2024 amid financial difficulties.
Under Walter Mokoena’s leadership, the new project has returned to competitive football at regional level, with ambitions to restore the club’s standing.
The retro merchandise offers another way for supporters to reconnect with the Swallows identity as the club works to write their next chapter.
