MTN8 Semi-Finals: Bucs avoid Sundowns

The Premier Soccer League have confirmed the fixtures for the MTN8 semi-finals on Sunday evening.

Golden Arrows became the final team to book their spot in the final four after defeating Kaizer Chiefs at the FNB Stadium.

Defending champions Orlando Pirates remain on course for a fifth successive title after overcoming Durban City in extra-time on Saturday.

Later that day, Mamelodi Sundowns also needed extra-time to overcome Polokwane City in their first domestic outing of the campaign.

Extra-time seemed to be the order of the weekend after Sekhukhune United edged AmaZulu 4-3 on Sunday afternoon after a thrilling 120 minutes of action at the Chatsworth Stadium.
