Another fatal shooting has rocked Woodstock, Cape Town, with a man killed in a suspected gang-related attack last night.
The incident occurred at around 21:00 when two gunmen opened fire from outside a residence, spraying multiple rounds through the front room window.
The victim was struck by the gunfire and rushed to hospital in a critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The suspects reportedly fled on foot before being picked up by a getaway vehicle.
According to investigators, the targeted property is believed to be a gathering place for a dominant gang operating in the area, raising strong suspicions that the murder is linked to ongoing gang rivalry and drug turf battles that have spilled over from neighbouring Salt River.
Police are investigating the murder as part of the escalating gang conflict that continues to unsettle the Woodstock community.
