REST IN PEACE: Mother Burned to Death Night Before Her Son 20th Birthday💔🕊️
Mary Adams (49) died in a devastating house fire on Tuesday evening (22 July 2026) in De Nova, Kraaifontein.
The fire happened on the eve of her son Dihanzo Adams’ 20th birthday. Instead of celebrating, he had to go identify her body the next day (his birthday, 23 July).
Due to the severe nature of her burn injuries, he also had to undergo a DNA test for formal identification.
Dihanzo was at work when a friend called to tell him their house was on fire. He rushed home to the tragedy.
Our thoughts and strength to Dihanzo and the entire family. A home is never the same without a mother. RIP Mary Adams. 🙏
