Hijacking Victims Held Captive For Two Hours: Umbumbulu – KZN

An owner-driver and three (3) employees were held captive at gunpoint for approximately two (2) hours after they were hijacked for their white Hino truck (pictured). The incident occurred at approximately 17:00 on Thursday after the eThekwini-based driver was confronted by seven (7) armed men shortly after making a delivery in the Umbumbulu area.

The suspects forced the driver and his three employees into the back of the truck, where they were held captive for two hours while the vehicle was driven to an unknown location. The victims were eventually released unharmed, and the truck was later recovered by authorities.
