Ngizwe Mchunu confirms Bhinca festival cancellation, claims EFF clash

Media personality Ngizwe Mchunu has officially confirmed the cancellation of his highly anticipated Bhinca festival following a violent confrontation with Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) supporters in Inanda.

The event, which was scheduled to take place this weekend, was marred by chaos after Mchunu and his security team were involved in a heated altercation with members of the political party. Mchunu alleged that the confrontation escalated to the point where his security personnel were forced to discharge an AK-47 into the air after identifying firearms among the opposing group.

Despite his initial insistence that the event would proceed as planned, Mchunu ultimately decided to call off the festival to prevent further escalation and ensure the safety of the public. Police were required to intervene to restore order in the area, and a heavy security presence has been deployed to manage the ongoing tensions between the two factions.
