Gavin Hunt did not hide his feelings following his side’s draw against Sekhukhune United F.C. on Friday night at Athlone Stadium in Cape Town.Speaking in his post-match conference Hunt said he was “disappointed that we drew the game” as questions persist around the team’s ongoing setup and player selection.

The experienced coach offered direct insight into the team’s tactical direction, explaining why he continues to experiment with the overall setup and what benchmarks must be met before he is fully satisfied with his starting lineup.

He specifically addressed the usage of Quwan Plaatjies, clarifying why the player was introduced as a second-half substitute rather than starting from the opening whistle.

Hunt also voiced growing frustration over off-field logistical hurdles, specifically citing the ongoing disruption of not being able to play matches at Danie Craven Stadium.
