WWE superstar spotted rocking Bafana jersey

A WWE superstar has shown his appreciation for South Africa in an unexpected way after being spotted wearing Bafana Bafana’s away jersey. Check it out!

Scottish professional wrestler and actor Drew McIntyre was spotted sporting the green adidas shirt, which was unveiled ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and forms part of the new 2026/27 Bafana Bafana kit collection.

The jersey features a deep green base with gold and white detailing, with the design drawing inspiration from South Africa’s iconic 2010 World Cup kit.

Adidas describes the shirt as being made from smooth tricot fabric, while the authentic version uses lightweight jacquard fabric.

The new kit has already caught the eye of football fans, with its design and quality proving popular among supporters.

McIntyre, whose real name is Andrew McLean Galloway IV, appears to have joined the growing list of admirers of the new Bafana strip.

The WWE star, who has established himself as one of the company’s biggest names, shared a motivational message alongside his appearance in the South African colours.

“It always seems impossible until it’s done,” McIntyre said.

Whether his connection with Bafana goes beyond the eye-catching jersey remains to be seen, but the Scottish star certainly turned heads by stepping out in the green and gold.
