Staring XI: Sundowns v Gallants

Mamelodi Sundowns return to Loftus Versfeld for the first time this season as they host Marumo Gallants on Wednesday evening.

Sundowns and Gallants were initially supposed to meet on the opening day of the campaign, but the clash was postponed due to the former’s pre-season being delayed.

The Brazilians will be aiming for a return to winning was though as they drew 1-1 with Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday afternoon at FNB Stadium.

Gallants, meanwhile, are going in search of their first win after starting the season with a draw against Kruger United, before they lost 3-1 to Stellenbosch FC last Friday.

It has not been an ideal start for new coach Phuti Mohafe, who will be eager to kickstart their league campaign.
