The Madlanga Commission of Inquiry will hear the testimony of alleged cartel kingpin Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala when it resumes on Monday morning.
Matlala is expected to spend Monday and Tuesday on the witness stand.
He is alleged to have links to criminal networks, attempted murder and the irregular multi-million rand Police Service Medicare 24 Tshwane District tender.

His appearance has been brought forward after he had been scheduled to appear on September 1.
The Madlanga Commission, which has been running for close to a year, is tasked with investigating allegations of criminal infiltration within law enforcement agencies.
Matlala is expected to face questions about the awarding of the tender, his alleged links to criminal networks, and other evidence placed before the Commission.
