Suspected Drunk Driver Arrested: Grangetown – KZN
A motorist was arrested following a collision involving two (2) vehicles on Todd Street near Grangetown – KZN this morning (Saturday, 22/08/2026).
At approximately 08:07, the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Operations Centre received multiple calls for assistance. Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched and found Verulam SAPS in attendance on arrival.
It was alleged that a grey Kia collided with a blue Toyota Yaris travelling in the opposite direction. The driver of the Kia was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and was placed under arrest by Police.
No injuries were reported
