Soccer Laduma can confirm that defender Sikhosonke Langa has left Kruger United barely a month after he was announced as one of their new signings.

Kruger United confirmed Langa’s signing on 19 July, but it turns out he’s no longer with the club.

This publication spotted Langa at Orbit College and, upon some investigation, found out that he’s on the verge of joining the North West club, who now campaigns in the second-tier Motsepe Foundation Championship.

Langa couldn’t be reached for a comment. However, Kruger United sporting director Elasto Kapowedza confirmed Langa’s departure.

“He was actually here for an assessment. He has decided to join Orbit,” said Kapowedza.

“As far as I understand it, Orbit kept calling, and he decided to join them. He gave us his reasons, and we accepted that,” he added.

Langa was previously in the books of University of Pretoria and Sekhukhune United.

He made 11 appearances for Babina Noko in the past season, before he was released.
