Drug-dealing suspect arrested while travelling from Pretoria to Marble Hall
The suspect, Ifeyanyi Ambrose Ezeh (47) appeared before the Marble Hall Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 17 August 2026 for dealing and possession of drugs. He was remanded in custody until 28 August 2026, for formal bail application.
The suspect was arrested on Sunday, 16 August 2026, at around 07:00 during an intelligence led operation conducted by members of the Provincial Organised Crime Investigations: Narcotics Unit.
The operation followed information that an adult male was travelling from Pretoria to Marble Hall to allegedly deliver drugs.
Police members proceeded along the R33 road, where they spotted and stopped the identified white Volkswagen Polo R-Line. During a search of the vehicle, members discovered a black plastic bag containing 10 balls of suspected heroin and 15 sachets of suspected crystal methamphetamine.
The estimated street value of the drugs is R40 000.
The suspect was arrested, while the drugs and vehicle were seized.
