The new strip features a tonal ‘MX’ pattern throughout, alongside a V-neck collar and the message “Somos México” stitched into the design.
The jersey also continues the use of adidas’ classic trefoil logo, which appears on the team’s away and third kits.
According to adidas Mexico Senior Director Pablo Cavallaro, the design was created to reflect the “Mexican spirit” and celebrate the country’s role as a World Cup host.
The launch also includes a lifestyle collection produced in collaboration with Someone Somewhere.
The range features apparel made with embroidered details crafted by women artisans from Naupan in Puebla’s Sierra Norte region.
