Drip Check: Malibongwe Khoza slays effortlessly

Smooth on the pitch, plays effortlessly and dresses in that manner. Ever wondered what Malibongwe Khoza looks like off the pitch, two words describe him. Smooth and effortless!

Malibongwe Khoza got his taste of first team football through the now former Mamelodi Sundowns coach Manqoba Mngqithi and hasn’t looked back.

The 21-year-old has since then made 17 appearances in the Betway Premiership and in most of those, Sundowns was able to keep a cleansheet.

He has therefore become somewhat of a regular and mainstay in ‘Downs’ backline and in his abscence, fans were asking questions, especially when Lucas Suarez was not on song.

Khoza’s cool and calm playing style that is reminiscent of a Sundowns legend, Thabo Nthethe, transcends the field as we’ve seen.

The youngster has a penchent for the oversized t-shirts and loose fitting pants, with neautral colours that are not so loud like most of his peers.

Puma fits of course make the cut, especially so with the association the brand has with his team Mamelodi Sundowns.
