Agent: Kapinga Will Bounce Back!
Speedy winger Lesedi Kapinga is not losing sleep over his career which has stagnated and believes he would bounce back soon.
Kapinga’s agent Mushe Mudau was speaking to Soccer Laduma this week and provided the latest on the player after his departure from Orbit College.
“He’s currently in Gauteng training on his own,” said Mudau of Mushe Sports Agency.
“We are working on getting him a team and we’ve even spoken to clubs in Morocco and Tanzania, but nothing came out of it.”
Mudau is confident that the 31-year-old Kapinga can hit the ground running wherever he finds a team.
“Yes, if the opportunity is there. Kapinga is okay. Between Kapinga and me, the one that is complaining is me. He’s going to tell you that God is going to put him somewhere. He always tells me, ‘I’m not here by mistake, I’m here because of God’. That boy is brave. He will tell you that he’s going to bounce back, relax.”The former Black Leopards player has not had the easiest of times since his move to Mamelodi Sundowns six years ago.He went on to make another big move to Orlando Pirates in 2023, but his stay with the Buccaneers was short-lived. Kapinga then transferred to Sekhukhune United in 2024 before finding a new home at Orbit College, where things also did not work out. He’s currently a free agent and actively looking for a new home.
