A PSL club has seemingly secured the services of a highly rated youngster who recently helped TUT clinch the Varsity Football title, with his debut potentially just around the corner.
Lucky Raphala arrived at Sekhukhune in 2025/26 from Tshwane University of Technology after impressing the club’s scouts during the Varsity Football Cup tournament.
Despite signing a first-team contract with Babina Noko, the 21-year-old only spent time with their DStv Diski Challenge outfit. The midfielder has since resurfaced at Real Native after terminating his contract with Sekhukhune.
He could make his debut for the side formerly known as Casric Stars when they host NWU in a Motsepe Foundation Championship encounter in KwaNdebele on Friday at 15:30.“Raphala has been training with us for two weeks now. He is a quality player. We want to give him opportunity here at Real Native,” said a source.
