ANC a no-show at election debate

The African National Congress (ANC) was a no-show at an election debate held in the Western Cape on Tuesday night.

The debate, which was hosted by a local radio station, was intended to give voters a chance to hear from the various political parties contesting the upcoming local government elections.

However, the ANC failed to send a representative to the event, leaving the other parties to debate amongst themselves.

The ANC’s absence is a clear sign that they are not interested in engaging with the voters of the Western Cape,

said one of the opposition party representatives who attended the debate.

The ANC has not yet commented on why they were a no-show at the event.
