A Gauteng-based PSL club has secured the services of a highly regarded Kaizer Chiefs youngster after completing a loan agreement with the Soweto giants.
Xolani Cossa will be representing Gomora United for the upcoming Motsepe Foundation Championship season following a successful loan spell in Botswana.
The 22-year-old turned out in the colours of Black Lions FC in the Botswana Premier League during last term.
Amakhosi have since extended his contract, which will see him part of the set-up at Naturena for the foreseeable future.
According to Gomora chairman Joe Seanego, the deal for the left-footed centre-back’s transfer on loan is done.
“Gomora United FC has confirmed the completion of the signing of Xolani Cossa from Kaizer Chiefs, Seanego told KickOff.
“Cossa is considered a top quality player. He is set to become the first player from the Motsepe Foundation Championship to represent the national team, and he is expected to set records.
“I was unable to sleep and worked overtime to secure his loan transfer.

“Despite having the option to join a team of his choice, he selected Gomora United because he perceives a future with the club.
“It is important to note that he has just signed a three-year contract with Kaizer Chiefs, which highlights his potential and future prospects,” adds the club boss.
