Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Miguel Cardoso has confirmed a big injury blow following their win over Marumo Gallants on Wednesday evening.
It was back to winning ways for the Brazilians as goals from Malibongwe Khoza and Cassius Mailula pushed them into third spot on the table, with the performance pleasing the coach.

Although, it was overshadowed by Mudau leaving the field of play midway in the first half and replaced by Zuko Mdunyelwa and he will be a major loss for the club and national team.
“Yeah, we believe so unfortunately, very serious injury. No, he got injured outside of the pitch on that action there was no contact, I thought it was the one in the middle.
“But no, it was not, it was here we reviewed the action. This one was not from a tackle, unfortunately Teboho is not ok from that first match.
“But no this was absolutely no occasion, it happens, there are accidents in F1, incidents in Football, it’s a big loss, let’s hope the other rise for the challenge ahead.”
Mudau now joins the likes of Teboho Mokoena and Arthur Sales, who remain out injured.
