Limpopo, South Africa — July 25, 2026

A suspected home intruder was allegedly struck by a passing vehicle while attempting to flee the scene of an attempted burglary in Limpopo, according to reports.

The incident occurred during the early hours of the morning after residents noticed suspicious activity at a private home. The homeowner reportedly activated a security alarm, prompting the alleged intruder and several accomplices to run from the property.

As the group fled through a nearby road, one of the suspects was allegedly hit by a passing vehicle whose driver was unable to stop in time. The remaining individuals reportedly escaped on foot before police arrived.

Emergency medical services and the South African Police Service (SAPS) responded to the scene shortly afterward. The injured suspect was transported to a nearby hospital under police guard while officers secured the area and interviewed witnesses.
