This marks the third court appearance for the group since July 20 , when the trial was originally scheduled to begin.

The accused face several charges including incitement to commit public violence, terrorism and conspiracy to commit murder.

The violent unrest erupted across KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng following the imprisonment of former president Jacob Zuma for contempt of court.
