EFF brushes off Malema’s NPA charges, hits out at AfriForum for ‘weaponising’ justice system
The charge of crimen injuria brought against EFF leader Julius Malema does not “faze” the party, it said on Wednesday, as it hit back at AfriForum for what it described as the “weaponisation” of the justice system.
The EFF remains unfazed by these desperate attempts to use the National Prosecuting Authority as a tool for political vendettas. AfriForum continues to demonstrate its obsession with the EFF, proving that they are more interested in pursuing personal agendas than in the actual administration of justice.
The party further stated that it would continue to defend its leader against what it termed “frivolous and politically motivated” charges, asserting that the legal action is a clear attempt to distract from the EFF’s growing influence in South African politics.
